Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a structured, goal-oriented, trust-based work between the client and the psychotherapist, which includes processes such as psychological evaluation and the use of psychotherapeutic interventions.

The main aim of the counseling process is to increase the psychological well-being of the individual. The counseling process also provides individuals with the opportunity to progress in a wide variety of issues such as problem solving skills, relationship and communication skills, social skills, and emotion regulation skills.

Psychotherapy is not a single method, there are many different psychotherapy theories and practices. However, among these methods, scientifically proven methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy result in much faster and more successful results.
